The wife of Professor Brandt. After her husband enters a depressive state after the crimes of his former student, Victor Frankenstein, which he feels that he helped drive him to, she attempts to get him out of it. She sees the perfect opportunity when Margaret invites them to attend a party in her mother's home town, unaware that it's so that Margaret can confirm that Dr. Hans Stein is in fact Frankenstein. After her husband confirms to the town's medical council that Stein is really Frankenstein, his depression worsens, leaving him in a near catatonic state, exasperating her distress.
