After surviving a near-fatal attack, his world unravels when a series of murders unfold around him, with each victim drawing him deeper into a web of dark secrets. When John's daughter lies fighting for her life in the hospital, he is devastated and enraged. Consumed by grief and a burning desire for justice, he takes matters into his own hands. The first to fall is his former partner, a trusted ally. He becomes a suspect in her murder. Next morning his neighbor falls victim to the relentless killer, and John find out that his wife is next, as it was in one old case he had investigated—the gruesome murder of a man's stepdaughter, colleague, neighbor, and wife.. Fueled by desperation, John races against time to save her. Realizes he's dealing with no 1, but 5 killers, with personal vendettas against him. The motives range from revenge for a past conviction to jealousy and hatred. The conspirators aim to make John suffer, framing him for the murders and orchestrating a meticulously planned revenge plot. Supported by his brothers, Humphrey and James, enlists the help of his former police chief, still the head of police. They race against the clock to save John's wife from becoming the final victim. He fights all 5 and kills them. At the end, daughter recovers, and family rebuilds after Retribution.
