William Bradley Pitt (born December 18, 1963) is an American actor and film producer. In a film career spanning more than thirty years, Pitt has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards and one Volpi Cup. His films as a leading actor have grossed over $7.5 billion worldwide. Pitt first gained recognition as a cowboy hitchhiker in the Ridley Scott road film Thelma & Louise (1991). This is a gripping crime thriller that follows retired detective John St. Bernard as he is thrust into a deadly game when his daughter becomes the target of a sinister plan. Fueled by desperation, John races against time to save her. Realizes he's dealing with no 1, but 5 killers, with personal vendettas against him. The motives range from revenge for a past conviction to jealousy and hatred. The conspirators aim to make John suffer, framing him for the murders and orchestrating a meticulously planned revenge plot. Supported by his brothers, Humphrey and James, enlists the help of his former police chief, still the head of police. They race against the clock to save John's wife from becoming the final victim. He fights all 5 and kills them. At the end, daughter recovers, and family rebuilds after Retribution.
