Michael Hirst is an English screenwriter, best known for his films Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age, as well as the Emmy Award-winning television series The Tudors.
It is a prequel to the Game of Thrones television series that will explore the events of Robert Baratheon's Rebellion and the Greyjoy's Rebellion, 27 years before the events of the main series. A total of 10 seasons, with maybe 10 episodes each.
