An elderly man that is the eldest of the three cops, being a 30-year-veteran of the force that is identified by his graying beard and tired eyes. Though not around in the story long, Barclay is the one who gets the three officers involved after receiving a call to look for the Caulfield brothers. He also seems to have a history with both Dixon and Keller, the latter of whose mother was in the force that took a bullet for Barclay. As such, he’s very defensive of Keller and is more than willing to put Dixon in his place whenever he makes snide comments about the young officer.
