Tim Key (born 2 September 1976) is an English writer, performance poet, comedian and actor. In 2009, he was the winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award and was also nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality.
When Rachel falls in love with her married professor, Dr Byrne, her best friend James helps her devise a plan to seduce him.
