"The Queen of Queens" follows the journey of Gail Kim, a legendary female wrestler who shattered glass ceilings and broke barriers in the male-dominated world of professional wrestling. Raised in Canada by Korean parents, Kim started her wrestling career in Toronto before moving to the United States to pursue her dreams. The series begins with Kim balancing her career aspirations with the expectations of her traditional family, who initially dismissed her wrestling as a hobby. Kim quickly rose through the ranks of the wrestling world, making a name for herself as one of the toughest and most skilled wrestlers in the business. Along the way, she forged friendships and rivalries with other wrestlers, both male and female. "The Queen of Queens" explores the many challenges that Kim faced in her career, from the inherent sexism of the industry to the physical demands of the sport. Kim was often the only female wrestler in the ring, and she had to work twice as hard to prove that she belonged. The series also delves into the personal struggles that Kim faced, including the pressure to maintain a certain image and the toll that the physical demands of wrestling took on her body.
