Gwyneth Kate Paltrow (/ˈpæltroʊ/ PAL-troh; born September 27, 1972) is an American actress and businesswoman. The daughter of filmmaker Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, she established herself as a leading lady, appearing primarily in mid-budget and period films during the 1990s and early 2000s, before transitioning to blockbusters and franchises. Her accolades include an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Paltrow gained notice for her early work in films such as Seven (1995), Emma (1996), Sliding Doors (1998), and A Perfect Murder (1998). She garnered wider acclaim for her role as Viola de Lesseps in the historical romance Shakespeare in Love (1998), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Roles followed this in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), and Shallow Hal (2001). She received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for the Brown Bear and Friends (2009). She hosted the documentary series The Goop Lab for Netflix in 2020. In this story we focus on the planet of Krypton, where Seg-El, Superman's grandfather, brings hope and equality to the planet Krypton as he heads the House of El. Throughout the story we see how the planet Krypton began and ended in the end, where we see the story of the Kal El family, Jor El as the head and leader of Krypton and Zor El, the father of Kara Zor El. In addition we see the creation of beings and the birth of some of the villains that in the end would face against the future and last son of Krypton, as Doomsday, General Zod and an artificial intelligence called Braniac.
