Shortly after the events of "The Dark Army", while the world is still struggling to digest the fact that "monsters" exist, a threat hovers over France, but the country can always count on its greatest monster hunter, nicknamed the Phantom of the Opera. He, although working alone, receives a little help from the French secret services, including a young woman reminding him of his fiancée, who has long since died.
