First appeared in Fantastic Four #265 in 1984 (posing Alicia Masters) and in Fantastic Four #357 in 1991 (as herself) and was created by Tom DeFalco and Paul Ryan. Lyja was a Skrull who was assigned to impersonate Alicia Masters and married the Human Torch before she was exposed.
