Jim Henson's Creature Shop is a special/visual effects company founded in 1979 by puppeteer Jim Henson, creator of The Muppets. The company is based out of Hollywood, California, United States, and then Camden Town in London, United Kingdom.
New York, 1933. A filmmaker, a first mate, and a beautiful girl set off to the mysterious Skull Island to film a picture. They soon discover in the premises of the jungle stands the Eighth Wonder of the World, King Kong! A gigantic ape fighting creatures taller than him and falling in love with the captured girl. The filmmaker decides to capture Kong and bring him to New York for fame and fortune but it backfires as soon as Kong escapes and attacks the city.
