After the original movie Nancy was believed to have killed her mother but she kept insisting that it was Freddy. She was thrown into a mental institution and has been there the last 40 Years. When Chloe and her friends tell her that Freddy is back Nancy breaks out of the hospital to help them stop Freddy.
