William Glenn Shadix (April 15, 1952 – September 7, 2010) was an American actor. He was known for his role as Otho in Tim Burton's horror comedy film Beetlejuice and as the voice of the Mayor of Halloween Town in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Long before Jack Skellington discovered Christmas, Halloween Town was first built so that every single monster would join together and celebrate by scaring people every once a year. It was at this very day when Jack Skellington rises from the pumpkin patch and the town goes wild for his disappearance.
