Maybe all of you wonder why we don't see Holly's Mother in the movie? Well, It's because she's still a fiancee (or what could be a runaway bride) that leaves Holland alone. She is still alive and still loving him, but due to problematic Clarissa's family involement, they're still in the Engagement's limbo - even they're already having a teenage daughter.
