He is a Canadian actor and producer based in Seoul, known for Hunt (2022), You Are My Spring (2021), and Mouse (2021). He cut his teeth as an actor, appearing in hundreds of episodes of educational television just as the Korean Wave was beginning to take off in the early 2000s. He transitioned to the entertainment industry in the late 2010s, taking on minor roles in Korean dramas and films, speaking Korean when the role required it. Despite his "dad smile," he often appears in political thrillers as a high-ranking official. As a creative producer, he has numerous credits for shows made in Korea, including Reset (which he wrote and directed), a web series, and several award-winning short films, all shot with an international cast in English. Paul is the founder and president of Big Meta Films, a production company based in Seoul.
