This would be a remake that'll stick close to the book The Nanny Diaries in the form of a Disney+ TV show, with different changes to the main plot of the book. When a college student has a hard time graduating from NYU and having to pay her overdue rent for her microscopic studio apartment, Nanny has finally taken a job to babysit a young teenage girl that causes a lot of trouble for her parents. Wanting to go on vacation for a few days, the teen girl's parents have decided to hire Nanny as a babysitter to take care of their daughter. However, Nanny and Carmen don't get along at first. However overtime Carmen and Nanny become good friends while helping each other deal with their own problems: school, boys, homework, and especially family.
