Alison Sealy-Smith (born 1959) is a Barbadian-born, Canadian actress who is best known for her role as Storm in various Marvel animated TV series. Smith was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, and raised in Toronto. She attended Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada, where she studied psychology on a scholarship. She is the founding director of Obsidian Theatre, a company that specialises in African-Canadian drama. Smith was awarded a Dora Mavor Moore Award for her 1997 star turn in Djanet Sears' Harlem Duet. Her film and television credits have included the series Street Legal, This is Wonderland, and The Line, and a recurring role in Kevin Hill. She also had a small role in the 1998 film My Date with the President's Daughter. Smith also voiced characters in various animated series, such as Storm on the 1990s X-Men and Scarlett on the Teletoon series Delilah and Julius. She played Sergeant Rose in the film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Honey (with Jessica Alba), Dark Water, and Talk to Me. Since the mid-2000s, she had a recurring role as Ms. Mann in the children's series Naturally, Sadie. In 2009, she performed as Nurse Lydia in the HBO Canada series Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures. Smith won a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 1997 for Best Female Performance for her role in Harlem Duet. She also won a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 2009 for Outstanding Performance By A Female In A Principal Role with her role as Lena in A Raisin In The Sun. Her daughter, Makyla Smith, is also an actress. After a falling out between Iron Man and Captain America, the Avengers disband for no reason at all. Kamala Kahn/Ms. Marvel doesn't like this and is trying to keep the team together. But, Cap and Iron Man won't listen to her. However, Justin Anderson/The Beyonder arrives and helps her out with this problem. Justin then brings her to the ruins of an old starship that crashed on Earth a while back and they spruce it up together and tells Kamala that A.I.M. is not to be trusted. They, along with the black-ops group Weapon X, have been capturing people, be they Inhuman, Mutant or normal and experiment on them and based on their performance, they would either stay or disappear. And also, the Justice League is in disarray due to Superman and Batman arguing about the contingency plans Batman had for the League, should they ever go to the side of evil or something like that. And even Young Justice is having problems. So Justin gets May Parker and Maria Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D. to help him and Kamala form a new team of Avengers, one with a few of the surviving members and some new kids, but they got several other allies to help them out, especially Elliot Heywood, a young man who is on a mission to get rid of A.I.M. for good, to do that, Elliot fights them as Ghost Rider. Plus, a familiar face returns, who is it?
