While many fans have expressed interest in a Cold War setting such as the Stasi, the Kremlin, East Berlin, Cuba as well as the Duvalier era in Haiti, the Vietnam War, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the Gulf War of 1991 as a similar content to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, which Incorporates a heavy gun use, modern military elements, and vehicles in the style of GTA along with Call of Duty would drastically depart from the series' emphasis on stealth, parkour, and melee combat in historical urban and natural environments around the globe including the former Soviet Union.
