Juliana is Salazar's ex-wife and Anne's biological mother. She and Salazar has been divorced for twenty years and she has not seen her daughter since then. She still lives in the village, working as a seamstress because her parents disowned her and forbade her to come back and live with them. The pain of losing her husband, daughter, and all her family caused her great pain, but she still lives life with great optimism and tries to help the rest of the townspeople in any way she can.
