In 1942, a secret cult, allying with the Nazis, revives the mummy of Kharis, the "lost" sorcerer and mentor of Imhotep. However, Kharis has his own agenda, as he plans to raise up the mummified Pharaohs and their armies throughout Egypt for global conquest. The O'Connell family are called by an old friend to help solve the mystery of the Pharaohs before Kharis' legions enter the battle arena of World War II.
This story serves as the conclusion of Stephen Sommers' Mummy trilogy (retconning Tomb of the Dragon Emperor).
