Fred Dekker (born April 9, 1959) is an American screenwriter and film best known for his cult classic horror comedy films Night of the Creeps and The Monster Squad (written with Shane Black). He contributed the story ideas for both House (1986) and Ricochet (1991), and also directed and co-wrote RoboCop 3 with Frank Miller. One of his earliest movies was a short film he made in college titled Starcruisers directed in the early 1980s. Night of the Creeps was released on DVD in 2009. In a June 20, 2005 interview, Dekker said he was currently working on a, "scary, end-of-the-world thriller." Three years after the gang came face to face with the likes of Frankenstein's Monster, The Wolfman, Gil man, The Mummy and even the nefarious vampire king himself Count Dracula. The club went back to their daily lives once there was peace after defeating them, closing the portal. However on Halloween Night, things get more sinister once the portal to Limbo was opened by a much more sinister force as the newest and most deadliest of foes came through, Jack The Ripper, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Herbert West, Leatherface and led by one of the most evil entities that came through the bowels of Hell itself. Freddy Krueger and another slew of unholy monsters behind him. With the modern monsters on the prowl, the gang has to gear up and find recruits and experts to fight against not only the notorious slashers. However, thanks to Krueger using the necronomicon to open up limbo, bringing forth an immense horde of flesh eating zombies in their wake. Will there be time to take down the slashers and the undead or will they fail as it becomes a night of Hell on earth?
