Dr. Kristoff Richards, one of the world's most brilliant astrophysicists, leads an ambitious deep-space expedition alongside siblings Evelyn and Andy Storm, veteran pilot Nathan Grimm, and their advanced robotic assistant A.R.C-1. During humanity's most daring mission beyond known space, their spacecraft encounters a mysterious cosmic phenomenon unlike anything ever recorded. The crew survives, but each astronaut returns to Earth forever changed by extraordinary new abilities. As the media dubs them The Miracle Four, the team struggles to adapt to sudden fame while learning how to use their powers responsibly. Their celebration is short-lived when the brilliant but unstable subterranean ruler Rupert Elder, known as Mole Mensch, launches an assault from beneath the Earth's surface, believing humanity has no right to claim the planet above. The Miracle Four must become explorers, scientists, and heroes, proving that their greatest strength lies not in their powers, but in their bond as a family.
