A plague of rogue sorcerers erupts across the globe, each claiming to have mastered reality-bending black magic from a singular, malevolent source: the Darkhold. Recognizing that this ancient grimoire poses an existential threat to the mystical fabric of reality, Doctor Strange ventures into the darkest corners of the occult. He recruits a team intimately familiar with the supernatural underbelly: Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, and Werewolf by Night. Every member bears the scars of the book's corruptive influence, forging a deeply committed alliance of monsters and vigilantes. Their investigation leads their team straight to the source of the rot-Chthon, the ancient Elder God and author of the Darkhold. The deity attempts to tear the mortal plane asunder, igniting a war of hellfire, sorcery, and blood. Forced to adapt on the fly, the team members learn to trust one another, seamlessly blending Blade's swordsmanship, Ghost Rider's roaring hellfire, and Moon Knight's unpredictability to counter Chthon's reality warping. In the climax, the team coordinates a flawless offense. Johnny Blaze unleashes penance fire, dragging Chthon screaming into the deepest pits of Hell and securing a victory for the mortals. With the author defeated, Doctor Strange moves to secure and isolate the Darkhold forever, only to discover the altar is empty. The book is gone. The film cuts to a remote, hidden sanctuary bathed in crimson aura. Wanda Maximoff sits in absolute silence, the pages of the Darkhold floating before her. Having quietly stolen the text, her eyes glow with an unsettling, dark magic as she effotlessly masters its forbidden, reality-shattering incantations. Cut to black.
