In the ancient halls of Ur, the dust-choked streets of a forgotten empire, and into the clinical cold of the future, a pattern is emerging. Four heroines undergo a shared spiritual awakening. Moving beyond the boundaries of culture and tradition, each heroine must navigate a landscape of shadow and temptation to uncover a higher power that has been hidden in plain sight. While their worlds are vastly different, their struggle is universal: a battle against the seductive pull of institutional rot and personal temptation.
