It is the start of Junior Year at Walkerville High. They were once friends in elementary school (Carlos, Dorothy Ann, Ralphie, Wanda, Tim, Keesha, and Arnold), but they all went their different ways ever since middle school, because they all went to separate middle schools. Getting back together since the beginning of high school hasn't quite gotten the people back together, but have all gone different routes (Phoebe is the new kid). But when the science textbooks come out empty due to a printing error. Science teacher Valerie Frizzle embarks on adventures with her class on the titular school bus. As they journey on their exciting field trips, they discover locations, creatures, time periods and more to learn about the wonders of science along the way.
