Charlie Mackaman is the dad of the three rascals and the husband of the beautiful Frances. He is a planner, an over-thinker, and an overall a wholesome fella. He is a great dad but sometimes his worries get the best of him and Frances is always there to either calm him down, defend him, and steer him in the right direction. She is his eyes and ears pretty much. He does have great relationship with Sera and Aaron, but Darius being the middle child is the one who doesn't take him serious because of her personality.
