But he does not know any of this. He has grown up believing he is Darkseid's son, until Orion encounters him and tells him the truth and that he is a vessel for Darkseid's greatest treasure, and is needed by his uncle to stop a coup being staged by his sons Kalibak and Grayven. Scott must escape from his uncle's planet if he is to save himself, and the universe as a whole. But, there's a catch, he's fallen in love with one of Darkseid's champions. It'll be a tall order to get her on his side. But he will need all the help he can get if he hopes to get away in time and join his real father and family who will no doubt be glad to see him...right? Because they're the good guys, right?
