One year after the events of The Lorax, Mr. O'Hare returns to Thneedville, only to find tons of Tuffla trees. He visits his old headquarters, which has been replaced with "The Lorax's Tree Fund". Outraged, he speaks with The Lorax and sets off to destroy all of the Tuffla trees. Meanwhile, the Onceler, now living in Thneedville and selling his Thneeds without destroying every tree, is an activist for saving the trees, working with The Lorax to prevent deforestation. He overhears O'Hare's plan to destroy all of the trees and sets off to stop him. O'Hare builds a machine which can cut down trees in unfathomable times, and enters Thneedville to cut down the trees. Will the Lorax and the Onceler be able to stop him?
