Ariels best friend and a little tropical fish and there is a little back Story as to how she met Flounder since we were not given one In the Live action little mermaid movie, Ariel found him when she was 13 years old and when Flounder was a baby because flounders mother was killed by humans leaving baby Flounder orphaned Hence why Flounder grew up to be a guppy and Ariel took him In Hence why they became inseparable ever since
