The Goddess Hylia (pronounced /ˈhaɪliə/ HY-lee-ə)[4] is a recurring character in the The Legend of Zelda series. She is said to be the opposite of the Horned God (later known as the Horned Statue). Beginning as a divine entity, she was later reborn into a mortal form as the first Zelda, making her the true ancestor to the Royal Family of Hyrule.
