Alexander "Alex" Proyas (born 23 September 1963) is an Australian filmmaker. He is best known for directing the films The Crow (1994), Dark City (1998), I, Robot (2004), Knowing (2009), and Gods of Egypt (2016).
The Legend of Drizzt is the overarching series within the Forgotten Realms detailing the exploits of the dark elf Drizzt Do'Urden.
An atypical Drow, Drizzt becomes disillusioned with his people's conniving and xenophobic ways and forsakes Drow society, electing to live at first as an exile in the Underdark, and eventually journeying to the surface world, where he faces hatred and prejudice from the peoples of Faerûn who know the Drow by reputation.
