March 21st, 1984. The day that Cold War-Era nuclear tensions between the US and USSR incited the end of the world as we know it. Among the survivors were a Criminal, a Brain, a Princess, a Jock and a Basket Case, who were able to survive thanks to the lead-lined walls of the library they were in that day. Now adults, these five misfits have to contend with life together in the radiation-infested ruins of what was once the Chicago Metropolitan Area.
