Hunter Schafer (born December 31, 1998) is an American actress and model. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Schafer first made headlines in 2016 with her activism against North Carolina's Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act. She also developed skills in the visual arts, including watercolour painting and clothing design. In 2017, she began modelling for numerous worldwide fashion brands. Schafer made her acting debut as transgender high school student Jules Vaughn in the HBO teen drama television series Euphoria (2019–present), which garnered her critical praise. She has since starred in the films The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) and Cuckoo (2024).

Previously, Ash Crimson, having obtained the powers from two of the descendants of the clans who sealed the Orochi away 1,800 years ago, Chizuru Kagura and Iori Yagami. Only one of the Three Sacred Treasures remains: the Sword of Kusanagi. However, Kyo Kusanagi suffered a major injury at the hands of Yagami, who had been overtaken by the power of the revitalized Orochi. Time has passed... With these recent incidents, it was feared that the next King of Fighters tournament would never happen. However, thanks to an unheard-of amount of promotion by a mysterious party, the KoF will be held on an unprecedented scale. The new mixed martial arts tournament is on the world stage, and the mass media has been giving it coverage like never before.
