A teen girl moves from Tokyo to New York City due to her mother’s work shift, but when she gets bullied in her new enviornment, she gets help from a retired sensei. This is a complete retelling of the original Karate Kid with some refreshing elements to it and it will fix major mistakes of the 2010 version (I thought that reboot was awful). There will be no connection to the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai.
