The story begins with a tragedy at the British Museum, where Dr. Julius Kane accidentally unleashes Egyptian gods, including the chaos god Set. As a result, he disappears, and his children, Carter and Sadie, discover that they come from a family of powerful magicians with ties to ancient Egyptian magic. The siblings embark on a quest to stop Set from achieving his destructive plans.
