Becoming Iron Man transforms him from a reckless industrial playboy into a reluctant hero, while also drawing the attention of those eager to seize his innovations for themselves. Meanwhile, Obadiah Stane schemes from within, exploiting Tony’s weaknesses as he secretly builds the Iron Monger suit. At the same time, the shadowy scientific group A.I.M., led by ambitious geneticist and technologist Aldrich Killian, sets its sights on Stark’s inventions. Now, Tony must safeguard his company, his loved ones, and his identity—realizing that the biggest threat to Iron Man isn’t a more powerful weapon, but the danger of his own technology being turned against the world.
