Captain Capitalist was a patriotic Super who was active during the “Glory Days.” Captain Capitalist was featured in one of the many newspaper cut-outs that decorated Bob’s office in The Incredibles. It was reported that, just before Mr. Incredible’s retirement and final public appearance, Captain Capitalist fought a supervillain known as the “Red Menace” in the skies above Newtropolis. The sight of the aerial battle apparently “dazzled” hundreds of worried onlookers. Captain Capitalist’s newspaper article implies that he possessed the power of flight.
