Joseph David Keery, also known professionally as Djo, is an American actor, singer, and musician. He first gained international recognition for playing Steve Harrington in the science fiction series Stranger Things (2016–2025), and has since starred in the comedy horror film Spree (2020), the comedy film Free Guy (2021), and in the fifth season of the crime comedy-drama series Fargo (2023–2024). As a musician, Keery was a founding member of the psychedelic rock band Post Animal. He left the band in 2018 due to acting commitments. In 2019, he released his debut solo album, Twenty Twenty (2019), as Djo. His second album, Decide (2022), spawned the sleeper hit and his first Billboard Hot 100 entry, "End of Beginning", after it became viral on TikTok in 2024. Djo's third album, The Crux, was released in 2025. He rejoined Post Animal that same year and headlined the Back on You World Tour as Djo with Post Animal as openers. Bruce Banner, whose struggle with the Hulk places him at the center of a growing crisis in New York. Years after the fall of the Avengers’ unity, Banner has tried to live quietly, studying gamma radiation and helping repair damage from past conflicts. But the political landscape has become strange and unstable. Power in the city has increasingly been influenced by Wilson Fisk, who has managed to remain president for multiple terms through manipulation and political pressure, although he rarely appears in public. Instead, the real authority in neighborhoods like Hell's Kitchen is Fisk’s chief political enforcer, Thaddeus Ross, who acts like a powerful deputy similar to a vice-presidential figure. Ross secretly runs a program attempting to recreate Hulk-level strength using unstable gamma experiments. When several test subjects begin transforming uncontrollably and causing destruction, Banner is forced to intervene. As the situation escalates, Banner realizes Ross used parts of his old research to build the program. Feeling responsible, Banner transforms into the Hulk and destroys the facility to stop the experiments. In the end, Fisk only appears briefly, observing the chaos from afar, while Ross escapes injured, hinting that the gamma exposure may change him into something even more dangerous in the future.
