Fan Casting Roger Abernathy in The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping

Roger Abernathy was the late father of Haymitch and Elias Abernathy. He often worked in the mines and did his best to provide for his family, in the midst of immense poverty in District 12. However, during one job in the mines, a coal machine went haywire, leading to an explosion that killed many workers in the mines, including Roger, forcing Haymitch to step in and provide for his loved ones.
