10 years after the fall of President Snow and President Alma Coin, and the rise of President Paylor, Panem is rebuilding under a fragile peace. The districts have regained autonomy, and the Capitol—once the symbol of excess and cruelty—is now a humbled city grappling with its past. But reconciliation is slow, and resentment simmers beneath the surface.
To confront the lingering divisions and foster unity, President Paylor introduces a controversial initiative: The Unity Trials. The 24 tributes are children of former Capitol elites, aged between 10 and 18, chosen by lottery. Each tribute carries the burden of their family’s legacy, some were architects of the Games, others beneficiaries of its horrors. Now, they must navigate a labyrinthine filled with moral dilemmas, shifting alliances and haunting echoes of the past.
