Hidden away in Paris, high atop Notre Dame Cathedral, lives the deformed but kind-hearted young bell ringer Quasimodo, who is never allowed to leave the bell tower because of his guardian, the evil, cruel, and tyrannical judge Claude Frollo, who aims to eliminate every last gypsy in Paris. One day, Quasimodo decides to sneak out and meets the beautiful gypsy Esmeralda and Captain Phoebus, with whom he will experience his greatest adventure.
