Sho Kosugi (born Shōichi Kosugi; June 17, 1947) is a Japanese martial artist with training in shindō jinen-ryū karate who gained popularity as an actor during the 1980s, usually playing a ninja. He is the father of Kane Kosugi and Shane Kosugi. After taking a hiatus from film, he started a taiko group in California. In Japan, he also runs an internationally oriented group of martial arts acting schools known as the Sho Kosugi Institute. It is common for Kosugi to have his sons co-star in movies when the plot includes family relations. Films in which Kosugi's sons perform alongside their father include Black Eagle, Revenge of the Ninja, and Kabuto (aka Shogun Warrior).

Shang-Chi confronts five fighters on his way to Fu Manchu's inner sanctum, while Fu Manchu watches on a video monitor. His father, Fu Manchu, sent him on his first mission at 19 years old. He would assassinate Doctor Petrie, a Westerner who opposed Fu's plans, "the most evil man alive." Once in Mayfair, he found Petrie asleep and wondered how such an old man could contain such malice. Petrie awoke; Shang-Chi struck. He turned to go. Denis Nayland Smith, in a wheelchair with gun. Shang-Chi slapped the gun out of his hand. He turned to go. Smith weep for Petrie. Shang-Chi was stunned. Smith explained the true nature of evil: Fu Manchu, a megalomaniac with a rejuvenating potion and assassins, with the goal bring glory of China's imperial age to the world. Fu captured Smith in Burma and gave him to Tak, a sumo wrestler who mangled him. Shang-Chi visited mother, an American, in Honan. Shang-Chi faces Tak. One of them, an enhanced gorilla, almost ambushes him. He and Fu became Enemies. Later: M'Nai meets with Fu Manchu, who orders him to kill Shang-Chi. A gang tries to mug him, with predictable results. "Skillfully executed, my brother!" says M'Nai, who watched the whole thing from the shadows. Before Shang-Chi can say anything, M'Nai vanishes. They meet at midnight for fight till death. Attacks with knife, nunchaku, fists, bo, shuriken. Climbs a crane to evade M'Nai and then realizes he cant kills his only friend. M'Nai kick Shang-Chi, but misses and falling down.
