Professor Hidgens is Emma Perkins' biology professor at a community college in Hatchetfield. He's described by her as kooky and reclusive. As we get to see his character throughout the series we see this is true along with him also being extremely innovative while taking drastic measurers. He has a failed dream to make it far in the musical theatre industry as he's tried many times to get his very own musical, Workin' Boys: A New Musical, off the ground. The professor has ever resorted to attempted murder of English Dutchess, Lucy Stockworth, to get it. To try and fill the void Hidgens found companionship in his Amazon Alexa.
