Hellbent on removing the Grysk threat, Thrawn does something very unlikely. He calls out the the New Republic. Despite not answering his call, he assumes they will come when the Hegemony comes to the Republic’s doorstep. On their capital of Ilum, the Imperials make plans to defend the superweapon-in the-making from the Grysk. He sends a squad of Stormtroopers to the Far Outer Rim to scope out the Grysk fleet, and their preparations for the attack.
