Although she came from Christmas Island, Jules and Amadeus didn't officially meet Longclaw until a young owl came into their room where they were healing from wounds. They met her a couple of times, once on the boat to the camp, another when she was asking for her tent. She's a young, naive soul who cares for a lot of people. She didn't want to fight humans, but she had no choice since she was drafted. Jules, Amadeus, and the other Freedom Fighters made sure she felt welcome among them. And to this day, Longclaw became a dear friend to Jules and his friends and family.
