Fan Casting The Penguin in The Gotham Knight: Heart of Ice

Cobblepot used to mean something in Gotham before the Waynes. Unintentionally overshadowed and pushed aside by the Waynes, the Cobblepots vanished into irrelevancy. Their wealth and prestige seemingly became worthless and all that was promised to Oswald was taken from him, fueling his hatred for the Waynes, who had taken what he thought was rightfully his. Now, Oz deals in weapons, arming much of Gotham's mobsters and other malicious characters to maintain his wealth, a status he did not want to degrade himself to - a criminal of the underworld.
