Don Vito Corleone is the respected and feared boss of one of the five New York mafia families in the 1940s. He has four children: Connie, Sonny, Fredo and Michael, who wants nothing to do with the dirty business of his father. When another capo, tries to assassinate Corleone, a bloody fight between the different clans begins.
