This is the story of Kratos. The once prominent Spartan general, turned servant to the Greek God of War, Ares. After a time of being the mechanism of death and destruction for Ares. In blind rage he would pillage a small village, unaware of his slaying of his young wife and Daughter. He now resents, and swears vengeance upon Ares, but this will lead him on a path of vengeance that goes straight to the top of Olympus.
This would be the first in a trilogy, to follow the God of War game franchise. However, to bring something completely new and different, I am adding one of the great screen writers to alter but not deviate from the core story. I am also adding my personal choice as Director, although I could definitely see other capable directors heading this franchise.
