Jill (McKenna Grace), Maddie (Millie Bobby Brown), Heather, (Sadie Sink), Olivia (Priah Perguson) and Kaitlyn (Scout Hamrick), are best friends living in Santa Clara, California. After many summers together, the five girl are finally going their separate ways for a few months: while Jill head to France, Kaitlyn visits family in Japan, Heather move and working helping her parents to Germany, Maddie and Olivia stay closer to home. No matter where they are they are connected by a locket necklace that they take turns sharing, the locket necklace that fit all five girl and ecemplity their tight bond.
