Fan Casting Jonas Mortlake in The Gatekeepers [the Power of Five] 2020-2026

Jonas is the only son of Susan Mortlake and an unknown father [likely deceased]. As Susan's heir he was instructed in all manners of the Nightrise Corporation and how to serve the Old Ones: he is a master of several languages and combat as well as a very high-level business man: by the time of Oblivion the fifth film he is the CEO of Nightrise, effectively second in command to the Chairman. He is tasked with brainwashing Scott Tyler to the side of the Old Ones which will break the circle and allow the Old Ones permanent control of the world. Jonas is highly egotistical, very cynical about humanity, manipulative, ruthless, somewhat flamboyant and narcissistic, quite sadistic and ultimately delusional in thinking the Old Ones value him. Overall he is a well-constructed character and symbol of the kind of people who willingly serve the Old Ones.
